Today is a special day–perhaps it is the first presidential inauguration that you have paid attention to and/or cared about. What are your expectations for the new president? Please list two issues that you hope that President Obama will address in his first two years in office. I think it doesn’t matter whether McCain or Obama made it into the white house, the next 4 years are going to be ruff. So any improvment or good change from Obama will make me happy. I’m just hoping he doesn’t get bashed for any wrong or bad thing that happens in the U.S. like George Bush did. There are a lot of other people in charge than just Obama, so it seems unfair to blaim it all on just him.

I expect Obama to stay true to his word. Or atleast i hope he does. He says “Yes We Can” and i would like him to prove that.
Also, i would like to see how he deals with the economy issues we are facing. I would like to see him pay attention to not only the big cities or states in general, but also the problems small comunities are facing.
I believe expectations are way to high. I dont think Obama relizes how terrible our economy is doing at the momment. It is a big responsability and i do not think he is ready for it. But i hope he proves me wrong.

I don’t know what to expect from obama i dont know
enough about him to know what to expect. I do expect change to happen becuase it’s a new president.

I don’t have many expectations for Obama. My many expectation for Obama is for him to do a good job and for him to help the econemy. Two issues that I hope Obama will addrees in his first two years in office are, the unimmployment rate to be lowered and other ecomemy issues. I do believe that change will happen. I think that he wont do as well as people would like him to because of their high expectations, but I do believe that he will do a good job.

I think that Presiden Obama will start to lower the national debt and bring the rise and fall of gas prices into check, i think that we need someone is more economically based than war based and we need Obama to help out the economy.

My expectations for the new president is that he will make good changes. 1 issue I hope Obama will discuss race in our world and how we can change it. I do not support Barrack Obama so, I do not believe that Obama will make the right change for us.

I believe that Barack Obama will meet the expectations that he has set for us and our country. I believe that change will happen, and my expectations for him are that he will get us out of this war, and he will help us get out of this economic meltdown. I also believe that he will help the environment by switching to greener things, like cars and household items.

I expect Obama to at least make good changes instead oof bad changes like Bush. But Obama NEEDS to take care of the war were in and end it.Not to mention if he can end this war, that would also partly help our ecomony. Today has been a historic inauguration. Mr Obama has promised many changes and dreams to the people od the United States of America. However, my expectations fro this new president are not high. I expect he will break the Constitution within the first two years of his term. I do not hope that the President will address any issue, but rather leave them be, for I disagree stongly with every single issue and idea he has put out. I THINK he will adress the socialising of health care and the “global warming.” I think people expect waay too much out of this newly elected president. I do not think any postive change will happen, all the while the media continues to smother him in glory.

I believe that Barack Obama will make amazing
president. I think that he will reduce taxes on

I think Obama has made many loftly promises that are too big for one man to fix. He wants to provide college for everyone, but how’s he going to do that unless he increases the taxes. Same thing with health care. Also, how is he going to just bring all the troops home from the war? He has made all these promises and we will see how he does in keeping them. (I also think he spends way too much money; he spent four times as much as McCain in advertising for the election! Is that the type of person we need saving this economy?
